Vahid Yaghoubi received his MSc of Mechanical engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Iran in 2010.

Since 2011, he is a PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses are parameter estimation, stochastic finite element model (FEM) updating and fast simulation methods including fast time-integration and model reduction methods.

During his stay at the chair, he was trying to surrogate the frequency response function (FRF) of a system and utilize that in a bayesian FEM updating framework.
