E-Mail:

Max is currently pursuing a PhD in the engineering risk analysis group at TU Munich prior to which he obtained an aerospace engineering Bachelor’s degree from University of Stuttgart in 2014 as well as a mechanical engineering Master’s degree from ETH Zürich in 2016. His research revolves around topics like reliability analysis, sensitivity analysis and high-dimensional surrogate model construction.

With this, he aims at efficiently computing conditional quantities of interest (e.g. probabilities of failure) in a multi-uncertainty context.
During his stay with the RSUQ group, Max worked on surrogate-assisted high-dimensional reliability analysis and investigated active learning approaches for dimensionality-reduced surrogates.
