Marco Daub obtained his doctoral degree from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 2020 with a thesis about Optimizing Flexibility for Component Design in Systems Engineering under Epistemic Uncertainty. Before, he studied mathematics and physics at the University of Konstanz, Germany, and did internships at Allianz, Airbus, BCG, and BMW.


In August 2020, Marco joined the Chair of Risk, Safety and Uncertainty Quantification to work on the propagation of imprecise probabilities using surrogate models with a special focus on probability-boxes.
